About PAAI 2026

The International Conference on Pattern Analysis and Artificial Intelligence 2027 (PAAI 2027) will take place from April 23 to 25, 2027, in Xiamen, China.As a premier academic forum convening leading researchers worldwide, PAAI 2027 is committed to fostering an open, innovative, and collaborative environment for scholars, engineers, and industry professionals in pattern recognition and artificial intelligence. At a time when AI is fundamentally transforming the global technology and industrial landscape, the conference seeks to present cutting-edge research, tackle critical technical challenges, and bridge academic innovation with industrial application, with particular emphasis on the core theories and frontier applications of pattern analysis and intelligent information processing.
The conference features five major thematic tracks spanning foundational theory to applied systems: pattern recognition and machine learning, encompassing supervised and semi-supervised learning, deep learning, transfer and meta-learning, and explainable AI; computer vision and multimodal analysis, covering object detection, 3D reconstruction, vision-language models, and medical and remote sensing image understanding; speech, language, and multimodal intelligence, highlighting large language models, cross-lingual NLP, multimodal sentiment analysis, and dialogue systems; data mining and knowledge discovery, featuring spatiotemporal pattern mining, causal inference, recommender systems, and privacy preservation; and perception-driven intelligent systems, addressing embodied intelligence, autonomous navigation, digital twins, and lightweight edge AI technologies that reflect the growing convergence of AI and the physical world.
More than a platform for academic exchange, PAAI 2027 offers a vital opportunity for intellectual dialogue and industry-academia collaboration. All accepted full papers will be published in the conference proceedings and will be submitted to EI Compendex / Scopus  for indexing.
